

Jonathan Jackman is a Director of Business & Legal Affairs for Sony Pictures Entertainment. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Law & Society with a Criminal Justice emphasis. Mr. Jackman studied law at University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he earned a JD and was an esteemed member of the coveted Dean's List.
While attending McGeorge
School of Law, Mr. Jackman spent a summer in Salzburg, Austria,
attending classes at the Salzburg Institute Summer Program instructed
by renowned United States Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Jackman served as a Deputy
City attorney for the cities of Cathedral City, Desert Hot Springs,
and Coachella. Over the past five years, Mr. Jackman has been
working in the field of entertainment law, specializing in the
area of Game Promotions. Mr. Jackman currently serves as counsel
to both Sony Pictures Imageworks, an Academy Award-winning, state-of-the-art
visual effects and character animation company dedicated to the
art and artistry of digital production and character creation
and to Sony Pictures Integrated Network, Sony Picture's online
theatrical, home entertainment, and television marketing group.
