Once PDF Creator is installed, you can use it from within your
applications. If you are working in Microsoft Word, for example,
you select "Print" and then choose PDF Creator as your
printer. We found it to offer a wide range of options for controlling
the output, and it even creates password protected PDF files,
so you can limit users' ability to print, copy, or modify the
documents.

Cleaner
- Somewhere under the layers of software detritus, your PC is
vigorous and eager to work. CCleaner claims to search through
several programs and remove useless files. Many cleaners scrub
out just your browser cache or your temporary files folder, but
CCleaner was developed to go several steps further. It cleans
temporary files from a number of applications, including Adobe
Acrobat, eMule, eTrust EZ Antivirus, Firefox, Google Toolbar,
Kazaa, Nero, Netscape, Office XP, OpenOffice, Opera WinAce, Windows
Media Player, WinRAR, and WinZip. An advanced Registry scanner
removes old and unused entries, including file extensions, ActiveX
Controls, uninstallers, shared DLLs, fonts, help files, application
paths, icons, and invalid shortcuts.
Note: This file is freeware.
However, if you donate a certain amount through the vendor's site,
the vendor pledges to send you all new releases before they're
available for download at the vendor site.
4 World Web
- Whether your dictionary is untouched or dog-eared and falling
apart, this free program can replace it quite effectively. Not
only does it include common definitions but it shows synonyms
and antonyms, as well. You can use it with any word processor
or as a stand-alone tool.
Its Lookup field lets you use asterisks and strings to find words in a number of different ways. If you enter *gry, for instance, the program will retrieve angry, hungry, and other words ending with those letters. You can add words to the program's database too. If you're a truly advanced wordsmith, you might find the program's hypernyms, hyponyms, meronyms, and holonyms useful.
The professional version
of this program costs $18 and lets you find anagrams and words
matching a pattern.
5. Podamigo

Search through thousands of podcasts and decide what you want
